Spring Style Tips

Spring is just around the corner and with the new season quickly approaching, it’s time to start thinking about what to have in your wardrobe. Don’t worry if you’re not sure what to wear, because we’ve broken down the key looks for the spring below.

Transitioning from one season to the next is never easy and if you’re still wrapped up in a puffer jacket, we understand that thinking about lightweight spring clothes doesn’t seem like a priority right now. Unfortunately, it may still be rather chilly outside, but the shops are already full of spring clothes and NOW is the time to start investing.

Mellow Yellow

Yellow was a shade that we saw in abundance on the catwalks and of course, it has filtered down onto the high street this season. If you’re not sure how to wear this shade (which, let’s face it, is a little bit scary) we recommend choosing accessories such as the sling-backs or the cross-body bag below.

The Trench Coat

Trench coats are coming back with a vengeance this season; and the good news is they work on everyone! We’ve seen people on and off the catwalk styling the classic trench as a dress, belted in imaginative ways that we’ve never seen before. Whether you consider yourself to be a classic dresser or fashion-forward, there’s a trench for everyone this season.

A great trench coat is always a necessity, especially since we’ve been experiencing chilly weather recently. Pairing this with a pair of plaid trousers and yellow accessories is a great way to add a bit of fun to the look.

Statement Earrings

Statement earrings were seen all across the catwalks for Spring 2018. Why should you invest in some statement earrings? They are a great way to add colour to an otherwise muted outfit, and they also help brighten up the face. The right earrings can also add a luxe feel to an outfit.

Statement Lips

Have you been wearing the same lip colour for the last ten years? If so, why not make this the season that you start experimenting with a new colour? Don’t forget that your make-up is an extension of your outfit, and that a bright colour will help elevate the outfit.
