New Year’s Eve Party Styles To Own The Night

In preparation for this New Year’s Eve, we’ve put together looks that will ensure you ‘own the night’. Festive party pieces – faux fur coats, metallic heels to dazzling sequins have been simplified and styled into stand-out looks by our stylist Deni.

The Power Party Look

Sequin season – the period that encompasses the Christmas parties and New Years Eve. This is the traditional time to break out the glitz and glamour. Match the disco ball glitter with a flamboyant sequined ensemble, Mary Jane velvet shoes and gold hoop earrings help add a classic touch to this opulent look. Layer a wool military maxi coat over to make this look effortless (and keep you warm!) Be a savvy shopper this sequin season and opt for separates – a sequined top and midi skirt.

You can wear these individually and add some sparkle to your daily looks. After NYE, pair down the skirt with a thick mohair sweater for a cosy country weekend or wear the sequined top with jeans and sneakers for a weekend brunch.

Excessive Accessories

Master the one-piece party dressing with excessive accessorising. The tailored jumpsuit has the power to go from office to cocktail hour with ease. Make sure to accessorise in excess – statement earrings, belt, bag and glitzy shoes are a must. Finishing the look with a faux fur coat in dazzling lilac guarantees you won’t leave the party unnoticed. Easy, right?

A tailored jumpsuit at first seem overdressed for daily wear, but by teaming it up with a turtle neck jumper or denim shirt, it becomes a wearable everyday item and wardrobe staple!

Red Alert: LRD

Are you planning a chilled out New Years celebration at home this season? I recommend opting for a more relaxed look – the LRD in knitted fabric is a seasonal wardrobe refresher which screams ‘comfortable glamour’. Whether you style under a cosy teddy coat or adorn with over-sized earrings, it will inspire all the way. Add an ‘understated’ touch of glamour with your shoes – metallic boots in gold or silver will keep the look festive.
