Style Doctors were recently asked to collaborate and offer style advice for an exclusive shoe event at Christian Louboutin at Mall of the Emirates. The all-day event was hosted at their luxurious store and on display was the latest collection from this iconic brand.
Synonymous with the iconic red sole high heel pump, Christian Louboutin has not (until now) been associated with everyday flat shoes. With more sneakers, loafers and even flip-flops amongst the range, the new collection add another dimension to the brand.
In no way, has the glamour been turned-down and the trainers and flat sandals ooze the same amount of glamour as the higher heels.
Christian Louboutin
The Louboutin brand gained popularity in the early 1990’s as their goal was to increase the popularity of stilettos, since most heels had been relatively short years prior.
Christian Louboutin himself had created the iconic red bottomed heels in hopes of making women feel more beautiful and confident in themselves.
Today, Louboutin’s shoes cater to both men and women, and come in a variety of forms: heels, sandals, sneakers, and loafers.

Shoe Styling
Maria, one of our talented Dubai based personal stylists was on hand to offer styling advice to shoppers. From finding the perfect heels for a wedding to styling kitten heels, she worked with the knowledgeable Louboutin team to help customers better understand how to get the most out of their shoes.

My main role as a stylist was to give the customers ideas on how to style their Louboutins, especially statement pieces from the new collection”
The Tivoli Collection
Because we no longer spend as much time (as we perhaps used to) in high heels, Christian Louboutin caters for the comfy days too, without compromising on its coveted design. The French house’s signature red-lacquered sole is as bold as ever beneath the Viera 2 trainers (seen below). Crafted from smooth leather splashed with a psychedelic motif and studded with golden spikes, they’re an athleisure style primed for weekend strolls and long lunches in town.
The other items in the range feature bold and vibrant colours and prints, making these the ultimate statement heels.
The Event
Understanding how to get the most from a pair of shoes doesn’t come easy! Maria was on hand to help guests by suggesting creative ways of styling some of the shoes featured.
“Using a few pieces from Kristina Fidelskaya’s collection, I managed to give tips and ideas on what to wear with Louboutin’s shoes,” says Maria.
