Miami Fashion Influencers
At our recent collaborative event with sustainable fashion brand Antidote, we hosted a styling workshop at Antidote’s Miami boutique. The event was a great success and we had several notable fashion influencers in attendance.
Our Miami stylist Aricia helped style the (already-stylish) influencers in some of Antidote’s clothes and accessories and helped them achieve a sustainable summer chic look.
Kristen Nicole is a Miami-based esthetician and lifestyle blogger and focuses on beauty, wellness, and fashion.
Kristen tried-on this yellow crop top with tied straps that add detail to an otherwise simple top. The mustard yellow on Kirsten is absolutely amazing and compliments her skin-tone well. Being a petite hourglass, the silhouette of the top suits her body shape well and accentuates her figure.
Kristen paired the outfit with high-waisted trousers and statement accessories that elevate the look. Layered necklaces give the outfit a little more dimension while the hat provides an edge to the outfit.
Carolina Baena is an accessory designer from Columbia who is known for her unique and colorful designs. Carolina’s line, JETLAGMODE is an exploration of all things fashion and art, and she shares the creative journey with followers on her website.
Carolina looks great in this classic shirt-dress. Shirt-dresses are a great summer wardrobe staple because they can be styled in multiple different ways. This shirt-dress is an essential dress to pack for a vacation, as it can be paired with multiple items to create different outfits throughout the duration of the vacation without feeling like you’re re-wearing the same outfit.
Wear the shirt open during the day and style with a white camisole and denim shorts or style with heels for the evening.
Thamicha is a stylist, writer and designer and has recently released a book called ‘It’s my turn to speak’.
Thamicha looks amazing in this polka dot skirt with the tie-front detail. Thamicha pairs it with a black and white graphic tee to create a monochromatic chic look. Her yellow sandals provide a fun pop of color to a minimalist look.
Neon looks particularly great with black and white and if you’re a little scared of color, shoes are an easy way to inject some into your outfit!
When choosing a skirt, we always recommend trying it on with different shoe heights to ensure you can get maximum wear out of the item. If you can style it with flats and heels, it’s a winner!
