London Fashion Week Stylist Edition
Following on from our last blog post about Amaju’s London Fashion Week street style looks here, this blog is dedicated to our stylists Deni and Elin’s LFW looks. As stylists, it’s vital that our team visit London Fashion Week to meet new designers, see the upcoming trends for next season and get inspired for styling sessions.
Deni’s LFW Outfit
This year my look for London Fashion Week was inspired by the Dior Exhibition I recently visited in V&A. I opted for a romantic evening dress with layers of tulle fabric and metallic embellishment in soft greys – perfect to take me from the daytime catwalks to the after parties at night.
“Neutrals are a must for SS19 if you want look chic and ultra elegant”
Whenever I buy anything new, I think of how I can wear it whatever the season. I styled this dress with a polo-neck (as it’s February in London after all!) I’ll be able to wear it again in summer by itself and style it with a skinny belt to change the silhouette.
I styled down this evening dress with a cream polo neck, cosy faux fur coat and comfy flat boots to run around and make it day appropriated. I always carry a lip gloss and cocktail ring in my handbag for the evenings which help me glam up the look for a cocktail or party.
Elin’s LFW Outfit
I have a bit of a thing for vinyl at the moment and when I spotted this coat, I knew I had to create an outfit based around it for London Fashion Week. As a stylist, I enjoy dressing-up every day and always plan my outfits in advance, regardless of what I’m doing. For LFW, I usually like to be a little more adventurous than I would go everyday because it’s a time where everyone attending puts their most creative looks together.
When the statement is the coat in an outfit like this, the rest of the outfit needs to be fairly simple hence why I styled it with jeans and flat boots.
“Neon was a big trend last season and I loved it in the 90’s and my love affair has been well and truly rekindled this time around. The palette is vibrant, fun and I love mixing different neon shades together”
London fashion Week is certainly a place where stylists can be creative with their looks. If you’d like some help creating an outfit for a special occasion, reach out to our stylists here.
