Makeover May – WIN A Style Makeover

As part of our 15th Birthday celebrations, we are teaming-up with selected retailers on Oxford Street to give away 3 makeovers for #MakeoverMay.

Having styled over 12,000 people over the last 15 years, we wanted to reward our clients and followers with a complimentary makeover and where better for this to take place than at the world’s most iconic shopping destination. A VIP for the day, yay!

Win a fabulous Style Makeover session with one of our expert Style Doctors. Winners will take away a complimentary outfit from either Gap, Forever 21 and John Lewis, make-up and hair revamp along with a professional photo shoot.

Your session will start with a styling experience with one of our expert stylists at your winning store. After finding the perfect outfit, you’ll be treated to a make-up makeover. To finish off the VIP experience, you’ll take part in your own photo-shoot.

I live in black and wear very little make up, my wardrobe needs serious help and this sounds like so much fun. I live in London and can definitely make either date.

I’ve just started my own jewellery start-up. However, I’m noticing that I need to renew my new work look to reflect my brand. However, my confidence has been so low that I can’t face the shops. Even online shopping seems like a chore, sending back clothes that I want to look good in but don’t feel it. I used to be the most confident person in the room, I wish to get back to that.

I want to represent my new brand in the best way. I hope you can help! I can make both dates. I would love the opportunity and would be so grateful.

I have nice clothes but I have trouble styling myself. Typically my clothes are too big or don’t suit my body. It is also difficult to shop because my family doesn’t agree with my fashion. I also wear very minimal makeup. The reason I am entering this contest is that I am going off to college soon and I want to look my age and pretty because I don’t feel confident when I wear clothes. In addition, I go to a private school so we wear uniforms and the only chance I get to wear my own clothes is during the weekends and vacations, so it would really be great if I was chosen.

In my fifties, started my own business after being made redundant. Feel I’ve kind of lost way in regards to style, what to buy and what suits me now. I’m in a rut with makeup and feel I look okay until I put on my glasses and oh dear! – it’s just a mess. Would love to be made over and given some fabulous tips.

My daughter is getting married in August and although I have lost five stone over the last couple of years I am still at a loss to know what to wear, so some advice would be greatly received. I would certainly be a challenge for you at 67, generally spend all my time in jeans and can’t wear high heels, but the experience and TLC would be just fabulous!

I have a 17 week old baby. Since having him my style has not been a priority due to having a lack of time but I really need to start making it a priority. I’m breastfeeding so am living in big baggy clothes which I wore through my maternity as they’re easy to feed in, would love a make over to feel nice again.

I’m entering on behalf of my husband, who is turning 40 next week. He’s never really changed up his style, but he’s really curious and open to changing it up (thanks to Queer Eye I’ve subjected him to :)); I think he just needs some guidance! Plus he’s a huge John Lewis fan, so this would be ideal for him!

I desperately need a makeover. I saved up with my boyfriend for 2 years for a house, and never went shopping for clothes or got my hair done during that whole time! Now we finally have the house, but I’m so used to looking a bit scruffy that I’m struggling to even contemplate where to begin on my appearance. I feel so lost and overwhelmed, a little help would be much appreciated.

Well I have tried online personal shopper such as Lookiero but I have never been fully satisfied. I feel a revamp should be done in real.
And I have lost weight recently so it would be good to get clothes that fit me just right. Rather than being all a bit loose… A kind of reward to myself for following my diet and exercising every day !
And in London, that’s a good day out !

Firstly I get so much inspiration from both pages. But I do not have enough time or money to spend on myself as I’d like. I’m a mother to 3 boys so they always come first. I would love the chance be in with winning this comp. pure bliss for any mum or woman who needs a day for therapy. Also being only 5ft 1 I find it quite hard to find styles that suit me but look so good on everyone else lol. Good luck to everyone and thanks for the opportunity to have a chance at making myself feel good!! Xx

8th May, my birthday, 63, OMG I’m sure I was only 22 yesterday. I open the wardrobe. What shall I wear for my birthday treat. 2 hours later, the floor littered with clothes, I admit defeat, these clothes need to go to charity. I’m in need of professional help (some would say in more ways than one). I need a new me, a me that befits a (young) 63 year old.
