During the Pandemic, Style Doctors like many companies reliant on retail, had to shift its business online. With that, the company expanded its online styling services to include video style consultations and a subscription chat facility and much more.
Online Personal Style Look Book
The Online Lookbook is now one of the most popular services Style Doctors has as part of its services with clients as far as New Zealand investing in a Lookbook.
In many ways, the pandemic was something that could have closed the company forever but due to our ability to react, adapt and execute quickly, we also managed to expand our service offering geographically online – Elin Mai
How It Works
There are now tens of companies online that offer an online service. Some subscription based, some that send customers boxes of clothes, others that send auto suggested items via email. Our service is very different – Clara, Creative Designer
To keep the quality and level of personalisation, each online session starts with a video call. During this call, the stylist gets to know the client and gets to understand more about their body shape, colouring and lifestyle. These are all key things the stylist needs to know to be able to offer the best suggestions for that individual. Something a computer algorithm simply cannot do.
After 48 hours, the customer then receives a stylish, in-depth unique online lookbook. All the looks are carefully styled based on their requirements and all looks are accompanied by style tips.
The customer then, simply clicks on the items and purchases what they like allowing them the freedom to try everything at home.
