Street Style Highlights from LFW
London Fashion Week is one of the most important events in the fashion calendar. Our stylists followed the emerging trends and shows with a close eye and whilst the catwalks are deemed as the main focus, there was plenty of style inspiration and emerging trends happening outside the shows. We’ve been style scouting the best looks that you can take inspiration from and these are some of our street style highlights from London Fashion Week.
Shades of Orange
Orange was by no doubt very popular at the Spring 2016 runway shows and now orange is the street style colour of choice. From tangerine and sherbet to bright, punchy hues like mandarin and apricot – it can add a pop of colour to any outfit. The best part about all these orange hues is that there is a shade for every skin tone. If you’re hesitant about wearing the shouty colour, an outfit like this is a perfect place to start. The hue looks particularly good with easy neutrals like brown and black.
Sports Lux has been seen everywhere on the runway and everyone is embracing it. These sportswear inspired outfits are hardly meant for the gym. So make sure you dig out your sportswear this season. White, classic trainers are a go-with-everything and will be the hardest working item in your wardrobe. Add a bit of sparkle with accessories like hats, necklaces or even glasses and you’re ready to go. A swipe of red lipstick will add femininity to the overall outfit.
