Taking place from October 9th to 13th, The World of Fashion is a five-day celebration of all things fashion held at Mall of the Emirates – the ultimate place to visit in Dubai for shopping, eating and entertainment.
The fashion-filled event kicked off on October 9th when House of Bazaar opened its doors in the Central Galleria. Here, visitors will get the chance to mingle with the region’s leading style experts and experience a series of exclusive live fashion shows, talks and presentations. If you love fashion, there will be plenty of moments that you don’t want to miss.
As part of the event, Style Doctors Dubai stylist Maria took to the stage with Rosemin Madhavji to discuss the latest trends for Autumn/Winter
World of Fashion x Harpers Bazaar Arabia
The glamourous style icon welcomed our very own Style Doctors style icon to share some of her style tips with the audience at the mall.
From Autumnal greens to chestnut browns, Maria showcased pieces in a palette that’s synonymous with Autumn
From how to wear metallic during the day to how to dress-up a knitted co-ord, there was a trend or outfit on display that would suit all ages, shapes and sizes.
“Head to toe dressing is something we often find people struggle with. They tend to have one HERO piece and then become uncertain about how to style the rest of the outfit” – Maria
As a stylist, it’s part of my job to ensure that I create full and complete outfits for my clients and that’s what I did with all of the eight looks.
Trends change from season to season and that’s something we look forward to as stylists. As the world opens up again, we have more opportunities to travel and socialise and what you wear plays such a big part in those moments.
The outfits were all put together with a view to be able to mix and match items from different looks.
Whether it’s a pair of boots that looked great with the colour block suit or purse that tied everything together, fashion and style is about having fun and I had so much fun putting these looks together!
THAT Concept store was the perfect place to have as a partner as they have such a wide and diverse range that is unlike any other store in the region.
