Bookings:

Please note that bookings are not secure until payments have been made. All bookings should preferably be made at least a week in advance to avoid disappointment. 

Cancellations:

If for any reason you are unable to make your appointment, you must inform Style Doctors personal stylists as soon as possible before the scheduled time. If less than one weeks notice of cancellation is given, 100% percent of your total fee will be non-refundable and rescheduling is not possible. If between 7-14 working days notice is given your fee will be refunded (however an admin charge of £45 will be deducted). Cancellations over 14 working days are refunded minus 5% of your package fee.

Rescheduling:

You may reschedule your experience on the condition that you give Style Doctors a minimum of 7 working days notice prior to the date of the experience (for a fee of £25), otherwise you will be expected to attend your day at the agreed date and time.

If more than 14 days notice is given you can reschedule for free and £25 for each subsequent re-schedule.

Please note that due to our demanding scheduling requirements we are unable to cancel at short notice due to illness or other commitments that you may have.

Gift Vouchers:

All packages are available by Gift Voucher and a gift certificate will be emailed out to you on the day of purchase. There is a one year expiry on the vouchers however in some cases we can extend this for a fee. When purchasing gift vouchers online please ensure that you have confirmed that Style Doctors cover your location. Gift vouchers from third parties will need to be collected by the style doctor on the day of the makeover.

We are happy to refund the cost of your voucher as long as the voucher is returned to us within 14 days of receipt and you have not already exchanged or merged it, or made a booking. If you purchased your voucher from a third party we are not able to refund it and any refund would be at the discretion of that third party and you should return your voucher to them.

Travel Expenses:

The company has Style Doctors across the country however there may be some additional travel costs in remote areas. For areas over 55 minutes from London and Manchester, travel costs start at £25. Please inquire before making a booking to avoid disappointment.

Style Questionnaire:

To ensure you get the most out of your session please complete your Style Questionnaire as soon as possible prior to your style session. This will be emailed to you before your day.

Sessions:

Style Doctors Style Consultancy scheduled sessions will usually take place between the hours of 9.45am and 5pm Monday to Saturday and 12pm – 6pm for shopping sessions on Sunday’s. Evening sessions can take place until 10pm at selected locations.

Guests:

All packages are strictly for one person and spectators can only attend if required for medical reasons and pre-arranged by the company. If a spectator attends without prior notice, they will be asked to pay the upgrade to a ‘couple’ package. The stylist reserves the right not continue with the session if a guest accompanies the client.

Experiences: problems on the day:

We welcome your feedback on all of our Style Experiences. If you encounter a problem on the day, please immediately bring it to the attention of the stylist so that they have a chance to put matters right.

If you have attempted resolution but the problem was not resolved on the day, please contact us by email or via our webchat service within a week of your Experience (providing your name, your stylists name and booking date).

PREPARATION FOR YOUR DAY

Home Visit:

Please ensure that you have your clothes in a reasonable order. For example; trousers together, tops together etc. This makes outfit selecting easier. If you have a Summer and a Winter Wardrobe please ensure that these items are all available for your Style Doctor.

Half Day Shopping:

Try to ensure that you wear comfortable clothes and footwear that are easy to take on and off as you’ll be trying on lots of different items in various shops. Try to avoid wearing jewellery as this will often be removed when trying on outfits.

Full Day Shopping:

Comfortable shoes are a must as a lot of walking is involved during this personal shopping experience. Try to wear an outfit that is easy to take on and off. If you are shopping inside a Mall/Shopping centre try to avoid bringing a heavy coat. Try to avoid wearing jewellery as this will often be removed when trying on outfits.

Total Makeover:

Hourly:

Wear comfortable clothing and footwear. Depending on the time booked this can be very fast paced.

Online Personal Stylist:

Please ensure that you fill in your questionnaire as thoroughly as possible and attach as many recent photographs of yourself. This service starts with a video call followed by suggestions available to purchase by Style Doctors. Items suggested are based on the information provided and the more accurate the questionnaire, the more accurate the results.

Style Chat:
  • Service offered via WhatsApp anywhere in the world.
  • Subscription will continue until customer cancels the service.
  • Service is payable ongoing and paid monthly.
  • Style *suggestions will be based on information provided in the style questionnaire and will take into consideration budget, brief, lifestyle, body shape and preferences.
  • There is no obligation to buy any items sent via the Style Doctors Style Chat.
  • Inspirational tips will be sent through as well as items and products.
  • Members will hear about Style Doctors offers and discounts before the general public.
  • Members are limited to asking one question per week such as ‘What necklace would you suggest with this dress’ (by sending a photo).
  • If a customer exceeds the amount of questions asked per week, an auto message will inform member to wait until the following week.
  • A professional, trained personal stylist will be assigned to every member (not automated).
Shop & Drop:

Available in the UK.

  • Up to 10 items included in the service from a maximum of 5 retailers.
  • Items will be selected based on the information in the questionnaire and information shared in the video call.
  • Customers can ask for items they know to be available OR let the stylist choose. Where a specific item has been requested, Style Doctors will try to deliver, although if items are not available a similar product of a similar value will be purchased. 
  • Video call will be no longer than 5 minutes in length.
  • Style Doctors take responsibility for items being delivered to the customer via Dropit.
  • Once items have been delivered to customers’ homes, Style Doctors take no responsibility for items.
  • Items will be selected and purchased based on the sizes given in the questionnaire and based on a visual video consultation.
  • Any items deemed unsuitable or do not fit should be returned by the customer. Style Doctors take no responsibility for returns. Customers should check individual receipts for individual retailer refund terms.
  • All purchases will be made in-line with the customers requirements.
  • Style Doctors agree to stick to the budget set by the customer.
  • Payment for the service and the shopping budget can be made via the website OR a payment of £45 will be invoiced for the service via Style Doctors plus the agreed amount to be spent on the items.
  • All receipts from shopping sessions will be included in the bags delivered by Dropit.
  • Any remaining monies will be transferred back to the client within 48 hours of completion of the session.
  • Delivery will be made within 48 hours from time of consultation. Style Doctors will endeavour to fulfil requirements as soon as possible.
  • Weekend deliveries only available within the M25.
  • Consultations taking place on a Friday (for those outside the M25) will be delivered on the following Monday or Tuesday.

Payment:

We accept all major credit and debit cards over the phone and online payments.  An invoice will arrive via email after booking-in your date. Dates are not secured until payment is received.

This payment option isn’t available for some selected products. You will be invited to select a different payment method at checkout.

Aftercare:

For packages over three hours each client will receive style suggestions curated by their personal stylist which will be sent electronically around one week after the session.

Belongings:

Clients are responsible for their belongings during the course of a personal shopping/styling experience with Style Doctors. The company does not accept responsibility for any lost property during the course of style sessions.
